Solve a question from a photo and follow the reasoning

Stuck on a problem on paper? Send a photo to the Supernapse AI Tutor, follow a guided solution and ask about any step.

Make the photo readable before sending

  1. Capture the complete problem

Values, answer choices and diagrams: a cropped part can change the problem.

  2. Check the photo

Focused, glare-free, with readable exponents, signs and units.

  3. Say where you are stuck

Ask for the steps. If the tutor misreads a value, correct it in the chat.

Worked example: a car starting from rest

Illustrative problem: constant acceleration of 2 m/s² for 5 s.

What am I given, and what do I need?

Starting from rest means v₀ = 0; a = 2 m/s² and t = 5 s. Find speed and distance.

How do I find the speed?

With constant acceleration, v = v₀ + a·t = 2·5 = 10 m/s.

Why not just multiply 10 m/s by 5 s?

That gives 50 m but treats the final speed as constant. From rest, d = a·t²/2 = 2·5²/2 = 25 m.

Check the original question against the solution

A photo can make a sign, number or unit ambiguous. Compare the tutor's values with the original and check the formula fits: here, constant acceleration and v₀ = 0.

If a step conflicts with your course materials, ask and check the reasoning. A final number is no substitute for understanding it.

After the solution, work on what's missing

  • Ask about one step

“Why is time squared?” or “What if v₀ isn't zero?” reveals the formula's conditions.

  • Reproduce it yourself

Cover the solution and redo the values, equation and substitution.

  • Practice from your materials

Supernapse also generates questions from your study sources, in a separate workflow.
